NUREMBERG. bintec elmeg GmbH has expanded its professional elmeg DECT handset line with the portable elmeg D150R for cordless communications on elmeg hybird systems in demanding environments.This robust business handset fulfills the international IP65 standard, offering resistance to dust, water splashes, and impacts - making it ideal for use in rough environments such as production facilities, construction sites, bakeries, restaurant kitchens, and more.
The new elmeg D150R unites all the advantages of DECT technology with integrated business features and central, web-based administration. In combination with an elmeg hybird system, this new handset from bintec elmeg provides an ideal solution for secure voice communications at small and medium-sized businesses.

Performance and value — the bintec W2003ac and W2003ac-ext

NUREMBERG. bintec elmeg GmbH has added two new 802.11ac access points for business applications to its wireless LAN portfolio. The new W2003ac and W2003ac-ext access points deliver good value and - using 2x2 MIMO - support all modern .11ac devices such as smartphones and tablets without compromising performance. The bintec W2003ac and W2003ac-ext are compatible with .11n devices and a perfect choice for adding the new .11ac technology to existing .11n business networks while conserving electricity and requiring no new PoE infrastructure.

Moreover, the bintec W2003ac and W2003ac-ext can be managed with either the controller-free wireless LAN management systems bintec Cloud NetManager and bintec Virtual Cloud NetManager or a bintec WLAN Controller installed on the local network.

The bintec RS353x – top performance with VDSL2 / ADSL2+, LTE and .11n WLAN

NUREMBERG. bintec elmeg GmbH is kicking off 2014 by launching its new pro-level VPN routers for high-speed internet access. The powerful RS353j, RS353jw, and RS353jv-4G are ushering in the latest generation of the RS series, delivering outstanding performance while providing airtight security and support for the very latest technologies such as VDSL2.

The new multifunctional RS353 access gateways come equipped with a combined VDSL2 and ADSL2+ modem as well as an ISDN interface. With the ability to establish high-speed VDSL2 and ADSL2+ connections - the bintec RS353jv-4G is also able to connect to the internet via LTE - these new models are ideal access routers for small and mid-sized companies, branch locations, and home offices where high availability and redundancy are required. The integrated .11n wireless module of the RS353jw also provides wireless data connectivity for enterprise applications.

bintec-elmeg IPSec Client provides secure remote access to enterprise data

NUREMBERG. The new bintec-elmeg IPSec Client from Teldat GmbH supports Windows 8.1, Windows 7, Windows Vista, and Windows XP (both 32-and 64-bit versions) and will be available mid-November 2013.
This powerful IPSec client is suitable for professional VPN applications and delivers secure remote access to data on company networks for employees who are on the road or working from home offices.
The bintec-elmeg IPSec Client includes comprehensive security features as does the rest of the bintec router family.
Michael Bindner, since September 2013 business line manager at Teldat, remarked: "We put a strong emphasis on security with our products both with respect to their basic design and the security features we offer. The bintec W1001n – discreet and professional

NUREMBERG. bintec elmeg GmbH has added the W1001n, an affordable .11n wireless access point, to its W-series APs. This sleek and flexible AP is recommended for affordable and discreet installations in hotels, schools, hospitals, offices, and places of business. The bintec W1001n is less expensive than yet provides an identical feature set to its predecessor, the W1003n. The W1001n allows professional management via the bintec WLAN Controller.

Core brands strengthened — Made in Germany

NUREMBERG. As of January 1, 2014, Teldat GmbH will operate under the new name bintec elmeg GmbH. The Nuremberg, Germany, based company specializes in ICT products and solutions. With the name change, the company is strengthening the visibility of its bintec and elmeg brands in the German, Austrian, and Swiss markets (DACH).

The change will also create ideal conditions for a focused international expansion as part of the multinational Teldat Group. The new, slightly modified company logo emphasizes the time-honored German brands and links them to the multinational Teldat Group's branding.

The bintec RS series — secure connectivity for mobile devices

NUREMBERG. bintec elmeg GmbH continues to enhance the performance of all the VPN routers in its RS series. Effective immediately, the bintec RS123 / 123w / 353a / 353aw / 353j / 353jv / 353jw / 353jwv and 353jv-4G bintec routers can be upgraded to provide additional VPN tunnels.

In addition to the five concurrent hardware-accelerated IPSec tunnels already included with each device, bintec RS series routers can now be upgraded via a license to provide as many as 30 concurrent VPN tunnels.
Increasingly popular mobile devices such as smartphones, tablets, and laptops use virtual private networks to establish secure connections to company networks, protecting sensitive company data from third-party attacks. The bintec VPN solution is compatible with all the major smartphone operating systems. With the optional 25-VPN-tunnel license, these bintec routers represent a secure investment that can scale to meet business requirements. If an organization needs more than five concurrent VPNs, it can now purchase the upgrade license and use up to 30 VPN tunnels simultaneously.

bintec RS353jwv-4G — combines VDSL / ADSL, LTE and wireless LAN ++ bintec RS123w-4G – LTE, WLAN and SFP for fiber links

The bintec bintec RS353jwv-4G is a universal VPN router and currently the only one on the German market to combine VDSL / ADSL, LTE (4G), and wireless LAN in a single device. The bintec RS123w-4G is a Gigabit Ethernet router that offers flexible connectivity options with LTE (4G), wireless LAN, and SFP for fiber-optic links.

The new multifunctional access gateways of the bintec RS series come equipped with outstanding security standards (backdoor free) as well as exceptional performance. They have been specially designed for solutions that require high availability and redundancy.

Rugged bintec W2002T-n provides wireless connectivity for passengers.

NUREMBERG. Teldat GmbH has launched its new bintec W2002T-n wireless access point for railway applications with immediate availability, putting the company on a track for growth in the mobile railway solutions segment.
 
The bintec W2002T-n has been specially developed to provide wireless network access to railway passengers and employees while fulfilling the stringent requirements set forth in the EN50155-T3 railway standard. This rugged access point provides M12 ports suitable for railway use, withstands vibration, and operates over an extended temperature range from -25 °C to +70 °C.
 
Railway operators can also combine the bintec W2002T-n with Teldat's H1 Rail 4G/3G router to provide passengers and employees with broadband internet access. In addition to enabling communications onboard the train, the bintec W2002T-n can also establish secure wireless links between individual railcars.

Portable and scalable — elmeg DECT series for elmeg voice and data systems

Starting in December 2013, Teldat GmbH will offer two new DECT over SIP systems - the elmeg DECT150 as a single-cell solution and the elmeg DECT200 / DECT200M as a multi-cell solution providing cordless telephony for elmeg hybird systems. The DECT systems will be accompanied by two new phones, the elmeg D130 and D140 cordless telephones.

The new elmeg DECT over SIP solutions combine the advantages of IP telephony and DECT technology with integrated business features and centralized, web-based device management. Together with its elmeg hybird telecommunications systems, this latest Teldat offering is an ideal solution for secure voice communications at small and medium-sized enterprises.

New: the bintec RV series — 3G/4G, WLAN, VPN and GPS

NUREMBERG. bintec elmeg GmbH has added to its portfolio of routing solutions the new high-performance RV series, which has been specifically developed for the automotive sector. The bintec RV120-4G and RV120w-4G come encased in a robust housing, making them perfectly suited to providing vehicles with fast internet access via 3G and 4G (UMTS/LTE).

The long list of additional features such as wireless LAN connectivity, VPN, and GPS allows organizations such as transportation providers, agricultural operations, security services, police forces, and fire departments to use these devices for a broad range of applications.
