bintec W1001n - for professional AP management
The bintec W1001n is a manageable AP with one radio module. It's an excellent choice for applications which only require operation in one frequency band - either 2.4 or 5 GHz. The bintec W1001n access point offers three different modes of operation. You can deploy the device as a stand-alone access point or manage it from a central bintec WLAN Controller.
The W1001n can also function as a WLAN Controller (master access point) itself and manage up to five additional APs at no extra charge. The scalable bintec WLAN Controller solution allows you to easily expand your network to as many as 150 access points without migrating to a new technology.
The new bintec W1001n offers identical software features as the other devices in the bintec W series. Operators can turn off the device's LED lights, making it inconspicuous in upscale environments.
HotSpot for guests
Whether you're operating a standalone access point or using a WLAN Controller, you can take advantage of the optional bintec HotSpot solution that allows you to provide controlled access to your network for guests - an ideal solution for hotels and restaurants.
